garlic juice releasing into the honey. After a month has passed, it is ready to
use.
Infusion of honey with roasted garlic
Ingredients:
250 grams of locally grown honey
30 grams of dry white wine
15 grams of extra virgin olive oil
10 cloves of fresh garlic
1 sprig of fresh rosemary
Cracked white pepper corns
Sprinkle of sea salt
Directions:
1. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Fahrenheit.
2. Peel the garlic cloves.
Stir the white wine and olive oil, together with a whisk.
3. Put the garlic on a square
of baking paper and place it using a ceramic oven dish. Pour the olive oil and white
wine over the garlic. Then sprinkle it with sea salt and top it off with fresh
rosemary sprigs.
4. Close the baking paper
into a package and then place the dish in the oven.
5. Roast the garlic for
approximately 15-20 minutes or until the cloves are golden and the smell of
garlic permeates the kitchen.
6. Extract the garlic from
the baking paper and smash the garlic with a fork, along with remains of the
olive oil and white wine juices. Stir the roasted garlic into the honey. Then
put some cracked white pepper.
7. Pour the result in a jar
and close tightly. The infused honey will last for at least 2 month.
